Edison Awards 2023 – Gold Winner

Huddle Health won Bronze in the Health Information Resource Center’s Digital Health Awards for 2022. MedHx Companion won the MedTech Breakthrough Award for giving clinicians an immediate view of a patient’s medication history, including prescribed medications, prescriptions not being filled, and potential opioid abuse. Having access to this data supports patient safety while alleviating the burden of numerous mouse clicks and time-consuming phone calls to gather information.

 

Edison Awards 2022

SmartSuite for Pharmacy won Bronze in the prestigious Edison Awards, which recognizes excellence in new product innovation. 2021 MedTech Breakthrough AI Innovation Award

DrFirst’s SmartSuite was selected as the winner of the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Award in the fifth annual MedTech Breakthrough Awards program. Recognizing that data sharing is essential to a patient’s transition from one clinician to another, the award singles out SmartSuite as “an enormous leap forward in quality” in this area. By making that data usable across non-connected systems, clinicians can spend less time reconciling patient medication histories manually and focus more fully on patient safety.

Fast Company’s 2021 World Changing Ideas Awards

DrFirst is one of only three vendors to receive CCHIT-eRx certification for 2011 and 2012.

ONC-ATCB Certification

DrFirst RcopiaMU, Version 3, is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as an EHR Module on November 4, 2010, by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Certification number CC-1112-401680-1). The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 and Stage 2 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Lead411’s “2011 Hottest DC Companies”

On a daily basis, the Lead411 research team scours through at least 600 press releases and business articles including venture capital financings, company launches, office openings, new customer press releases, etc. This information has given insight to which are the fastest growing technology companies in U.S. Their “Hot List” awards have been created to recognize these fast-growing companies. This particular list originally started with over 855 companies and it has been narrowed down to the top 43. All companies must be in either the Software, Wireless, Hardware, Internet, or Media industry, a privately held organization, and be within DC Area. From there, each company must meet one or more of the following requirements: 100% increase in revenues over the past two years with revenues over $2M or $1 million+ in funding in the past two years.

2011 Black Book Rankings Top Performing Electronic Medical Record Vendors

Black Book Rankings, well known internationally for accurate, impartial customer satisfaction surveys in the services industries conducted a sweeping four month user poll to determine the highest ranked Electronic Health and Medical Record organizations for 2011. Black Book Rankings surveyed over 30,000 healthcare records professionals, physician practice administrators, and hospital leaders in the information technology arenas to provide EMR users, media, investors, quality minded vendors, and prospective buyers of EMR/EHR software with a comprehensive comparison of the industry’s top respected and performing vendors. Black Book Rankings employs eighteen key performance indicators targeted at ensuring high product and service performance through comparing vendors from the customer experience.

2008 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Service Leadership

Frost & Sullivan presents the 2008 North American E-Prescribing Frost & Sullivan Customer Service Leadership Award to DrFirst Corporation. This award is in appreciation of DrFirst’s commitment to serve its customers effectively and to maintain its leadership in the U.S. e-prescribing systems market through customer satisfaction and consequent customer base expansion.

2007 and 2008 Surescripts Safe-Rx™ Awards

Physicians using Rcopia, from DrFirst, were recognized in both 2007 and 2008 for being e-prescribing leaders in the nation.

2007 BlueWorks® Award

CareFirst, BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts, in collaboration with DrFirst, was recognized by BlueWorks to receive the 2007 BlueWorks Award® for partnering with providers to replace paper prescriptions with electronic prescribing. BlueWorks is a partnership between BCBSA and the Harvard Medical School Department of Health Care Policy that recognizes the innovative ways Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies are working with doctors and hospitals to increase the efficiency and consistency of care delivery nationwide.

2004, 2005, and 2006 TEPR Top Honors

DrFirst was selected by the Medical Records Institute at TEPR three years consecutively as one of the top E-Prescription Management Systems in the industry.

2005 Healthcare Information Technology of the Year
