Rockville, MD - DrFirst, the nation’s leading e-prescribing and health IT solutions platform provider, announced today that it has formed an agreement with the Oregon Medical Association (OMA) to provide special e-prescribing benefits to help Oregon doctors meet federal Meaningful Use (MU) objectives with DrFirst’s RcopiaMUSM.
With the recent announcement of the new Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements, and the changes to Stage 1 requirements, the Oregon Medical Association recognizes the urgency in supporting Oregon physicians in meeting Meaningful Use criteria.

Practices can have RcopiaMU up and running within days, and the product includes DrFirst’s AttestEasy, a service that helps physicians navigate the attestation process. In addition to providing physicians with a tool to meet Meaningful Use, RcopiaMU includes detailed medication history, insurance eligibility and drug benefit information, full e-prescribing with safety notifications for drug-drug, drug-allergy, age and dosage alerts.
