This partnership will advance healthcare technology that will bring Practicare clients new patient safety and efficiency capabilities and cost savings. Concurrently, the partnership will allow Practicare to provide their users access to Rcopia, a time-tested, top of the line e-prescribing application and to bring the feature to market quickly, with a greater ROI, and a shorter training to adoption cycle.

Connecting Practicare with DrFirst’s Rcopia GoldRx Certified e-prescribing Solution will substantially enhance customers’ ability to send and receive renewal scripts electronically to pharmacies and enhance clinical decision support functionality for drug/drug and drug/allergy interactions. In addition, connecting with Rcopia will allow users to access medication history beyond their clinical offices for up to the last 10 years of patient medication history, send electronic scripts to the mail order pharmacies, share patient data with other providers, and reduce pharmacy callbacks due to non-formulary compliance.
