The criteria for advanced certification status focused on benchmarks that signal a vendor’s commitment to interoperability, customer support and successful customer implementations. Gold certification is awarded only to those health IT software companies which go beyond baseline product compliance in terms of quality, safety and efficiency in the e-prescribing process. Pass an independent, third party audit, to test the security of systems and applications as it relates to HIPAA Security Final Rule.
Comply with all of Surescripts’ implementation requirements for applications as it relates to factors such as prescription routing, prescription benefits and patient medical history.
