Insight Software, LLC announced today its partnership with DrFirst to integrate Rcopia® e-prescribing into My Vision Express, Insight’s electronic health record (EHR) system for eye care providers. This fully integrated e-prescribing system will enable eye care providers to improve prescribing safety and practice efficiency.
With the integration of Rcopia e-prescribing, eye care providers using My Vision Express will be able to access comprehensive clinical information for each patient, and easily and securely submit electronic prescriptions within the My Vision Express workflow to retail or mail-order pharmacies. Accessible patient information includes drug and allergy interactions, available prescribing histories and formulary information. All the resulting prescribing data is instantly captured within the application.
