Two New Meaningful Use Certification Bodies Named

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at HHS (ONC) has named two more organizations as authorized testing and certification bodies.
They are ICSA Labs, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and SLI Global Solutions, Denver, Colo. Both organizations are now eligible to certify electronic health record systems and modules of those systems as capable of enabling healthcare providers meet the meaningful use criteria and qualify for health IT incentive payments under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
These two organizations join Certification Commission for Health Information Technology, Drummond Group, Inc. and InfoGard Laboratories, Inc. as ONC-authorized certifying bodies.
